Apply in 6 steps
1. Get information in Advance
If you would like to study in Germany and uni-assist is responsible for your application, this is the page for you. If you are interested in a bachelor or master’s course, you can find out about the requirements here. Then, ask your chosen university about the application criteria for your chosen course of study.
2. Plan your application
Check how to apply via uni-assist. Plan your application using our checklists and notes on deadlines. In some cases, special rules may apply, for example if you need a preliminary review documentation (VPD).
3. Assemble your documents
Create scans of all the required documents. Check whether translations are required and, if necessary, have them made by a court-certified translator.
4. Apply online
Register in My assist. Create an online application form for each chosen course. Upload documents for your applications.
5. Pay All fees
Pay the handling fees for all your applications. The processing time begins once we have received your paid online application form.
